Biography

Shirzad Mohammed Mahdi Sourchi has been a lecturer at the Administration Technical College, Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU), since 2016. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Management with a specialization in Human Resource Management. 

He has taught various undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including

* Strategic Management

* Risk Management

* Organizational Behavior

* Leadership skills

His teaching approach emphasizes creating environments where students can acquire and develop both present- and future-oriented professional skills.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Sourchi serves as an advisor for Raid Consultant & Engineering Services and the Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) in the field of human resource management, a position he has held since March 2017. His key competencies include

In his leadership roles, Dr. Sourchi has led a team of business management specialists and managed international student enrollment in EPU’s Business Administration programs. Oversaw in-house budget planning and campaign execution, Held administrative and leadership responsibilities, Managed customer relations, SEO, and social media strategies, Developed innovative pedagogical methods to ensure inclusive and high-quality education, Drafted funding proposals to support academic initiatives, Reviewed and edited course content for academic accuracy and relevance.
