Younis Khalid Khoshnaw is a Lecturer at Erbil Polytechnic
University; he joined the University on 2006, and since then, he works as
an academic staff lecturing in introduction to computing, AutoCAD and
materials science for engineering, fluid mechanics, theory of vibration,
machine design, engineering drawing, engineering mechanics, theory of
machines, technical English, advanced mathematical analysis, mathematical
modelling, finite element method, and advanced finite element method.
Younis Khalid Khoshnaw earned
his PhD. in Mechanic, Energy, Materials. Doctoral
School of Engineering Sciences, from University of Lille 1, Lille –
France, Dissertation titled "NON-LINEAR NUMERICAL HOMOGENIZATION:
APPLICATION TO ELASTO-PLASTIC MATERIALS" 2014., and M. Sc. In
Mechanical Engineering. From University of Salahaddin Erbil-Iraq thesis
titled "THE EFFECT OF CUTTING TOOL VIBRATION ON SURFACE FINISHING OF
WORK PIECE IN TURNING OPERATION" 2005, and B. Sc. In Mechanical
Engineering. from University of Salahaddin Erbil-Iraq thesis titled "DESIGN
OF HEAT EXCHANGER – SHELL AND TUBE TYPE" 1998.
From 2006 – 2009, he worked as
a Assistant lecturer at the Mechanical and Energy Engineering department
/Erbil Polytechnic University, and, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in
UNDP for the period between 2000-2003.
Through these years, he
published papers in the field of Finite Element, Composite Materials,
Vibration and Porous Materials, in addition of working as a Mechanical
Designer Engineer for many local building projects in Kurdistan Region.
More than 20 years experience
working in the practical fields, University and Mechanical engineering.
More than 15 years as a
practical, technical and academic trainer, and TOT, in three languages;
Kurdish, Arab and English.
Very good spoken and written
and conversational in English and French. And excellent in Arabic.
