Yassin Is a graduate of civil engineer from London South Bank University with MSc in Civil Engineering Structures from London City University (University of London now). Apart of completing MSc and BEng in Civil Engineering, he has completed Advanced English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) which is equivalent to Bachelor Degree from United Kingdom. He was previously working in engineering company in UK as a site manager and worked as interpret and translator for both Kurdish and Arabic community.

He is been working in academic field as assistant lecturer in Erbil Polytechnic University. During those periods he has been involved in academic research for the past years and published some of them in journals.
