Yaseen Hameed Rashid was born in Kirkuk, Iraq, in 1969. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology, Mechanical Department, in 1991. He earned a Master's degree in Acoustics and Vibration from the Mechanical Engineering Department in 2006. Currently, he is an assistant Lecturer at Erbil Technology College, Erbil Polytechnic University, Kurdistan, Iraq.  His research interests are concentrated on automotive, noise, and Vibration.

Attention should be paid to raising the level of education at the Erbil Polytechnic University, in particular the Erbil Technology College, and focusing on encouraging students to develop their skills and reach the level required of them.
