Shaida earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Koya University in 2009. Shortly thereafter, she was appointed as a demonstrator in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the same institution, a role she fulfilled until 2011. That year, she commenced her postgraduate studies at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, where she pursued a Master of Science in Sustainable Building Technology, which she successfully completed in 2012. Upon returning to Koya University, she resumed her academic career as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Architectural Engineering within the College of Engineering. Since October 2018, she has been affiliated with Erbil Polytechnic University, serving as an assistant lecturer in the Road Construction Department at Erbil Technology College. For her academic tenure, she has supervised numerous undergraduate capstone projects and has actively engaged in a wide array of scholarly activities, including seminars, workshops, and national and international conferences.
