Dr.Mustafa Rasol Muhammad.

Mustafa R. Mushammed completed his BDS at Hawler Medical University. He studied Clinical Master Degree in Oral and maxillofacial Surgery at Hawler Medical University. Dr. Muhammed completed his Ph.D. degree in Oral surgery at Hawler Medical University. Currently, Dr. Muhammed is working as member of teaching staff in Erbil polytechnic university/ Erbil medical institute  and  reviewer in Polytechnic journal.

The main fields of his research direction include oral and maxillofacial surgery specially searching for best materials uses in fixation of facial bone in general and mandible in special. He is also focusing on Guided tissue regeneration technique (guided bone regeneration) technology to treat critically sized bone defects. Another field of his research interest includes using eggshell membrane as guided bone regeneration for helping in repairing bone defect. Also, he focused on using biochemical and immunological parameters, role of each parameter during bone healing, another line of his research was to prove histologically healing of bone defect under best condition like grafting and covering with membrane and comparing to control group.
