MEDIA ALI IBRAHIM (Assis. Lecturer) received the B.S. degree in Software engineering from the University of Salahaddin, Engineering collage in 2007, the M.S. degree in Advanced Software Engineering at University of Leicester/ United Kingdom in 2014, and the PhD. Degree in information system engineering at Erbil Polytechnic university in 2024 .

In 2008, Media embarked on a pivotal role as an IT Manager at the Ministry of Planning, where she honed her skills in information technology and management. Her dedication and expertise in this role were evident as she served diligently until 2011.

Recognized for her potential and commitment to academic excellence, Media was granted a prestigious scholarship to pursue her master's degree. She seized this opportunity and commenced her master's journey in Oct 2011, successfully completing it in Jun 2014. This milestone marked a significant achievement in her educational path.

In 2015, Media transitioned to a new role as an Assistant Lecturer at the Ministry of Higher Education, embarking on a career in academia. Her passion for teaching and sharing knowledge has since inspired countless students in the field of software engineering and technology.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Media Ali Ibrahim has made notable contributions to the field of research. Her research pursuits in networking, fog computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), semantic web technologies, and Reinforcement Learning are at the forefront of technological innovation.

Moreover, she is an active member of the Industry Advisory Board (IAB) at Erbil Polytechnic University, where she plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the academic realm and the private sector. Simultaneously, Media hold membership in the Cisco Networking Academy at the university. With a CCNA1, CCNA2, and CCNA3 certification already under her belt and a commitment to ongoing learning. Both entities are under the management and support of IREX, a global organization focused on development and education.

Media's commitment to professional growth and her dedication to the field of engineering are exemplified by her membership in the Kurdistan Engineering Union since 2008. Her active involvement in this professional organization demonstrates her ongoing engagement in the engineering community.
