Philosophy of Teaching
“The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.” Mark Van Doren.
My academic attitude is clear: Respect, Education,
and Knowledge.
One of the most important qualities for someone
to possess is respect. The teacher himself is where it all begins. It is
attained by treating others with respect regardless of their age, socioeconomic
status, religion, or race. Every educator should look at the fact that students
have diverse histories and families.
The purpose of education is to help learners
become free by teaching them how to navigate the world on their own. Additionally,
it teaches learners how to discover and utilize the resources available to them
to achieve their goals. must remove the restrictions they have imposed, which
have prevented them from accomplishing aims and objectives.
The above is made possible by knowledge. A
teacher can assist students in learning by demonstrating to them the value of
knowledge and supporting them in obtaining resources.
