As a dedicated nursing professional with a robust academic and clinical background, my journey in healthcare has been driven by a passion for improving patient outcomes and advancing nursing education. With a PhD from Hawler Medical University and a Master of Applied Science from the University of Nottingham, I have cultivated a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of nursing. My research has focused on innovative methods to enhance patient care, such as the effectiveness of the McKenzie method for low back pain and structured diabetes self-management education.

Throughout my career, I have embraced diverse teaching roles, from fundamental nursing to specialized areas like pediatric and adult nursing. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a student-centered learning environment, which I have implemented through my training at Salahaddin University’s Pedagogy Center. I am committed to the Bologna Process, ensuring that my students receive an education that is both comprehensive and aligned with international standards.

My professional experience extends beyond academia into clinical leadership, having managed Taqtaq General Hospital and led teams in both the pharmacy and emergency departments. These roles have honed my skills in healthcare management, patient care, and team coordination, providing me with a holistic perspective on the healthcare system.

I am deeply involved in research, supervising numerous student projects that investigate critical health issues such as diabetes, stroke risk factors, and hepatitis B. These projects not only contribute to the academic growth of my students but also address significant health concerns in our community.

Fluent in English, Arabic, and Kurdish, I am equipped to engage with a diverse patient and student population. My proficiency with technology, including platforms like Zoom, Edmodo, and Prezi, ensures that I can deliver dynamic and interactive learning experiences.
