Assistant professor Basil Younus Mustafa (hydraulic civil engineer) started his academic career in September 1992. From 09/1992 to 07/2001/Lecturer at civil Engineering Department / College of the Engineering/ University of Salahaddin-Erbil-Iraq. From 07/2001 to 11/2003 /Hydraulic Civil Engineer, Head of surface water unit / United Nations, FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization)/ Erbil Office - Iraq. From 11/09/2003 till now / Assistant professor at the Civil Engineering Department / Erbil Technical Engineering College / Erbil Polytechnic University -Erbil-Iraq, and from 01/04/2009 till now / Director of Engineering Consulting Bureau / Erbil Technical Engineering College / Erbil Polytechnic University -Erbil-Iraq. He is research interests include Sediment transport in rivers and pipes, hydraulic structures performance, Engineering hydrology study and analysis, and water quality & management studies.
