Aksana Jihad Mohammed received a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Salahaddin, College of Engineering, Civil Engineering Department in 1989. Continued study for M.SC Civil Engineering on 1993 till 1996 in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Baghdad University, Iraq.  She started her academic career in 1996, as a lecturer in Baghdad University/ Chemical Engineering Department. Currently, she is a lecturer in Civil Engineering Department, Erbil Technical Engineering College, Erbil Polytechnic University, Erbil-Iraq.
